Why did you remove the development section on issues for service desk project types? Then why did you not contact customers to warn them that was happening?

So in the latest update for OnDemand the 'Development' section suddenly went missing on our service desk project issues. It was not obvious why until a bit of trial and error testing to figure out what happened. Looks like you removed it and only software types show this now. Why couldn't this of been optional or configurable? We  use a singular project using both service desk features and development changes based on those service issues. Further, why weren't existing customers using the combination warned it was changing so we could adjust before go live?

Atlassian divided JIRA into three products.  The development functions (including the source tabs) went into JIRA Software.  It was announced when the split was announced, but there was a lot in there.  I suspect Atlassian probably regard your usage pattern as very unusual and hence don't support to (source control on service desk items. Is not something I would do)
