Why are some custom fields not supported in Portfolio?

I'm configuring one of my plans, trying to add some custom fields from JIRA but all the fields say "Type Not Supported". Can someone tells me how to make it supported? I don't know if it's some configuration change in JIRA?

Fields are whitelisted based on type, since Portfolio doesn't delegate rendering to JIRA. All the fields you have in your screenshot are plugin fields, these are typically not supported in unassociated plugins.

There is no way to change this behavior, no.

What fields do you want to add? I cannot imagine Approvals or Capture fields will be helpful to you in Portfolio.
