Who changed the workflow?

Esther Strom, ACP-JA January 8, 2014

Is there any kind of record kept anywhere (short of in the database itself, which I can't access) of who makes changes to a workflow? One of our flows started behaving very strangely this morning, and none of the very few people who have access to make changes are taking responsibility for the problem.

With workflow changes, you can see who modified the workflow last and when they did so just by looking at your Workflows admin screen.

Unfortunately, you can't see what they did just yet, in case that's what you're interested in. If anyone reading this answer is interested in the latter, here's an issue you'll find relevant: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-3157

Thanks. That's strange, because according to that screen, none of our workflows have been touched in over a month. And yet there's no denying that they're behaving differently today than they are supposed to.

I did find our issue; our IT manager upgraded our Jira license to allow for more users, but didn't update one of the plugins (JIRA Misc Workflow Extensions) to match.
