Which scenario or which time the "On demand JIRA under maintenance" will be occured?

Hi All,

I am new user for "On deman JIRA". I am migrating the items for SharePoint 2010 to "On demand JIRA".

It the migarated time, "Under maintenace" error will be occured and it will be present more than 2 hours.

Please share the below information,

1. When or which time the "On demand JIRA" is under maintenance will be occured?

2. Which scenairos "On demand JRIA" goes under maintenance?

Hi srini,

Here is a documented list of maintenance windows for OnDemand: Atlassian OnDemand Maintenance Windows

The normal scenario where an OnDemand instance would go down temporarily would be whenever there's an upgrade going on. This may include:

  • application upgrades
  • plugin updates
  • infrastructure changes (network related)
  • bug fixes

Other than this, if your instance goes into maintenance mode, it would normally mean:

  • security fixes (you'll be informed via email a few days in advance)
  • an issue within your instance (in which it is advisable to raise a support ticket to enquire what has happened):
    • OutOfMemory
    • Database issues
