I'm trying to make a backup on Backup Manager, but the generated file is on WebDav. When WebDav asked for the login, I tried with my JIRA Account and didn't work, then I tried with my Atlassian Account and is not working.
How can I access the WebDav area ?
Thanks!
Hey guys,
I've figured it out and yes I'm 99% sure you all have the same issue and this is a simple case of the support team of Atlassian not knowing the right answer (Do not get offended because it is true).
The simple point is for some reason the system demands your username that is listed under the user management area. This is not your email and this is not the full name (what ever you see coming up on your profile).
This is only seen under USER MANAGEMENT-USERS. (see attached)
Default will probably be "admin" and then require your password.

If you've changed your user password, the admin password may still be the old password that was originally assigned to your account when your site was setup. "admin" worked for me... as long as I used my original password.

Make sure you log in with your account name, not your email address.

It doesn't work.
Group administrators have been created, labeled as admin, but can't access to the WebDav Directory.
So no, it didn't help

I had the same problem, and filed a support case (JST-167888).
In my case
Once I was added to all the ADMIN groups, and our database was patched, I was able to access our WebDav area, as intended.
Cheers!

I am having this exact same problem. I am trying to migrate an existing JIRA Cloud instance to a new one but none of our admin users are able to access the webDAV directory. HELP!

Hi all,
Did you find a way to get in WebDav?
I have the same problem, with all the accounts currently in the Administrator group, there's not one that works...

I'm having the same trouble. I have administrator access and two other users who also have admin access can't get to webdav. We see the login screen but the login/pword are not accepted. We are using JIRA cloud. On a mac. I tried several approaches with different webdav clients and the direct Mac OS approach. Any ideas?

Hi Ronaldo,
does it work, when you are a member of the admin group?
My question because, we have the same problem and even administrators cannot download the Backup file.
Ciao

Hi Ronaldo,
As you can see at Accessing Your WebDAV Directory - Cannot See Data and HTTP Authorization Required Message, you need to be a member of the administrators group to access your WebDAV directory.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Clarissa.
