Which documentation should be referenced for Crucible - JIRA integration

knowshan January 27, 2014

I came across following two documentation links for JIRA - Crucible integration:

  1. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ATLAS/Dragons+Stage+7+-+Get+JIRA+and+Crucible+Talking
  2. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CRUCIBLE/Linking+Crucible+to+JIRA

Which documentation should be used for Crucible 3.2.4 and JIRA 6.1.2 integration?

It seems like 'Project linking' isn't not required with recent versions, but first link contains instructions based on it. So I am not sure whether it's needed in my setup. Any help?

Hi Shantanu,

You're right, Project linking is no longer necessary with recent versions.

The document you need to follow is https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CRUCIBLE/Linking+Crucible+to+JIRA

Cheers!

Is the section "Connecting to JIRA for user management" applicable for OnDemand Jira? I'm unable to authenticate my application.
