Where is the log generated in project import process

Trying to import a project from backup file, it passed the validation and completing re-indexing when it was aborted. Too many errors; In the web page there are information showing Where are the error message of Unable to create issue with key .....

Where are the logs generated regarding import process? Trying to get more detail information about why import of particular issues are failing,

You can check this information on the catalina.out (<JIRA-INSTALL>/logs/catalina.out) log file.

Hello Chao,

If your project import did not complete, you can refer to the JIRA log file. The Project Import tool will log details of the operation to this file, including any unexpected errors and exceptions. e.g. database locked out, disk full... etc.

Your "JIRA log file" link is bad. I'm trying to find the log file. Can you provide a location on where to find that?
