Where has the timesheets report gone?

I've just logged in to do a weekly review of time recorded against my agile project, and the timesheet report is no longer there!

Where has it gone?  Surely I don't now have to go and get a paid add-on for something that was previously provided with JIRA?

ok I can answer my own question.  I've found (after some looking) the announcement about its removal.

I am unhappy, too.  Can you direct me to the explanation for this?  Is there a workaround with Issue Filters?
