Where has my Teams dropdown gone?

Chris Tolley January 27, 2022

I am part of a team in the process of migrating our Jira Datacenter instance to Jira for Cloud. We have a test cloud instance setup with some data which was migrated across as part of a test migration.

We just deleted that Jira test instance and created a new one for the purpose of resetting things for future tests.

After launching our new test instance, we noticed that the Teams section under the People dropdown (at the top) has disappeared. Weirdly, when we click on the People dropdown, we can briefly (for a millisecond or so) see the Teams section appear and disappear again.

Is there something you need to enable for the Teams section to show up? We had it available to us with the instance before resetting things and now we are confused as to where it's gone.

Thanks in advance!

@Chris Tolley

If you have created teams they should be available.  Is it doing this in all browsers and to all users?  Have you tried clearing your cache?   If you are still having the issue you should contact support https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Hi @Brant Schroeder we did reach out to Atlassian support who identified it as a bug. They fixed things and we're no longer having the issue.

Not sure what caused it, but all good now thanks.
