Where can I set the items to be displayed in the issue one liner. Above, we see teh assignee, the estimate, etc. I would like to add the status

I am assuming you are referring to the display of issues in the backlog (issue one liner)?
If so, you can modify the information show by going to the board Configure option then going to the Card Layout section. You can configure what's shown for the Sprint and Backlog separately, but you can only add up to three fields.
Thank you. I did not realize that setting this up under the backlog would also change the issues which are under the Active Sprint defined under the BACKLOG page. I was keep just trying to add it under the Active Sprint section, without positive outcome. I should have tried it first !
