Where can I find Watcher filed ID in Jira? How to obtain watcher field id in Jira?

Hello Team,

Can anyone help me in finding Watcher (System field) field ID in Jira?

I am using JIRA 6.4.6 version. Thanks in advance for your help.

There is no watcher field.  It's a built-in function that is not written as a field, although it does have a lot in common with a "multi-user picker"

Why are you asking?

Go to

Administration > Issues > Custom Fields
Scroll down to "Watchers" click configure and you will see the ID within the browser url.

& if you want to sent new content to it so make sure to use in the following format "customfield_11102"

That's only if you've added the add-on that provides an additional custom watcher field.
