When will the "Edit detail" item page show Comments and other info as the side view?

When will the "Edit detail" item page show Comments and other info as the side view?  (kinda ridiculous really as seeing the details of the issue in an issue tracking software is kinda the main point... and the right side column is too small to effectively read with a complex issue).

Hi @Andy and welcome to the Community!

I'm not sure I'm following you here or not but...

From the board if you click on an issue you will get the side-bar detail view and that layout can be configured. If you click on "e" while a card is selected then an edit screen dialog pops up (what you are showing). This is an edit view not the detailed issue view. The Comment block is empty as it is there for a new comment, not previous comments. If you want the detailed issue view then click on the issuekey directly from the side-bar. In your example the LH-3345. That will bring up a new window with all comments, etc.
