When 'Done' issue with resolution 'Won't do', skip 'Fix version' validator

Hi all,

I am trying to find a way to add a condition to a validator.

When a developer chooses 'Done' resolution - 'Wont do', it should skip checking for the Fix version I set in the validator.

Hi Kamilia,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

To do this you will need a plugin. On top of my mind I'm thinking about Jira Misc Workflow Extensions which allows you to have conditional validators. You could use the scripted validator of this plugin.

There are other similar plugins capable of this too.

Is there possibly any other way I could do this? Afraid it will be difficult to justify the cost of the plugin to use just this one feature.
