Hi All,

i had been researching about this and found that most recomends to upgrade the Plugins (provided latest plugin supports current and latest jira version) then the Jira instance.

All of our paid plugin's latest version supports the current and latest Jira version but we have free plugins in which the latest version does not support our current Jira version.

What do you guys recomend for this situation?

JIRA Version

Current6.0.8

Latest6.2.3

free plugins

jira-calendar-plugin-2.1.7.jarJira 6.2 - 6.2.3

jira-toolkit-0.35.9.jarJira 6.2 - 6.2.3

Thanks,

eric

Hi Eric, tecnically you could upgrade JIRA with the current version of your plugins and upgrade them after JIRA upgrade, but this sometimes cause problems, so you may upgrade JIRA without those plugins (just remove the jar file from $JIRA_HOME/plugins/installed-plugins) and install the latest version after the upgrade.

Cheers
