What permissions do I need to create the sample project/portfolio via FOLIO's "Getting Started" page?

Steve Humburg June 11, 2013

I am logged into a development instance of JIRA.
I have the evaluation version of FOLIO installed.
The user I am logged belongs to the administrators group.

When I try to create the sample project/portfolio via FOLIO's "Getting Started" page I receive the error message, "Sorry you are not permitted to create a project in JIRA."

What permission(s) do I need to create the sample project/portfolio via FOLIO's "Getting Started" page?

In JIRA, If you are a JIRA administrator you should be able to create a project. You can check the JIRA Administrators permission at this page:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+Global+Permissions

As you say you log in as administrators group, you supposely to have the create project permission. Are you able to go to the Administration page?

You can check the FOLIO doc at here:

https://greffon.atlassian.net/wiki/display/F35/Folio+3.5+Documentation

From the doc it seems it is following the JIRA permission, but not 100% sure on it. You can try to contact the plugin vendor/support for comfimations:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.greffon.folio/version/105/support

Hope this is helpful somehow. :)
