What is the "Body Type" JIRA accepts for Issue Attachment Edited

Hi,

I am trying to add the issue attachments from Salesforce.  We have all the File format type to attach in JIRA.

Right now, I am passing the attachment body as Base64 Encoded. It's not working as expected. I am not sure what is the  JIRA issue attachments Body type.

Thank you for reaching out.

I believe you are importing the attachments from Salesforce to JIRA through REST API. Is it correct?

If that's what you are trying, I'm afraid that JIRA only accepts binary images, however, we have a feature request opened to improve this behavior:

Create attachment via REST API accept base64 image

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.
