Hi,

We got the following error when importing using a JIRA 5.2 and Agile 6.2 import:

Sorry, your data contains JIRA Agile data from a previous version that is not compatible for import. Please upgrade to JIRA Agile 6.7 first and try again

Does that mean that the only way to import to JIRA software is to have Agile 6.7 installed on the source JIRA? Which thus means the JIRA should be upgraded to JIRA 6.3 or 6.4 first?

Cheers,
Eric

Unfortunately the only way to upgrade to JIRA7 is through upgrading to at least JIRA 6.4 first with Agile 6.7 installed and then recreating an export file in the intermedium JIRA. After that the import succeeded into JIRA7.

Hello,

having the same issue, we're trying to upgrade first to JIRA 6.4 (oracle11) before performing the upgrade to 7.1

Did you manage to solve your issue yet ?

Best regards,

Corentin

Yes indeed, but you don't necessarily need to export/import each time : upgrading simply by connecting to the same db works correctly for the JIRA upgrade (which is much faster).

Does not work for our scenario where a DB change was done at the same time.
