What happens to saved filters when you change issue type Name?

I've been asked to rename one of my issue types for a project that has a very active user-base. Should I be concerned for the saved filters? Will changing the name screw over all of the saved searches using that issue name?

I know I will need to update all my scriptrunner scripts, but other than that, does anyone know of any potential issues with renaming an issue type?

My initial thoughts were that the saved searches using that issue type would just use the object id instead... amiright?

It depends on how those filters are searching for those fields. If it has the object id, I think you would be ok. But if is looking for the issue type by name you will most likely need to update those.
