What happens to our data if Checklist plug in fails

Lisa Reilly October 16, 2013

Hi there

We use the Checklist plug in extensively in my company. What would happen to the data we have stored in the checklist fields if the plug in were to fail?

Hi Lisa,

The Checklist plugin uses the standard JIRA tables for custom fields to store its data. As such, if the plugin fails to work, the data should be safe as long as nothing else corrupts the database. In fact, it is as safe as using any of the standard JIRA multi-select field. I hope this answers your question but if it doesn't, please let me know so I can fully answer it.

Regards,

Yves
