You guys have a per-user payment structure, but I would like to know what a user is? If we open up service desk to the public and anybody can post, then is whoever registers a users? (I'm firstly assuming Service Desk can be open to the public?)
What abour read-only users? For source code for example?
Please elaborate on the different products and users.
Many thanks
A user is someone who has an account that can log in. So yes, whoever registers is a user. That's about it really.
Atlassian are looking at changing this model for the Service Desk though, and very soon, as it doesn't really work for cases where your "users" are a large group who just need a helpdesk (e.g. 10 people supporting 10,000 people who have no other use for Jira)
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
