What are the bracketed numbers on the History Tab?

In JIRA, in the standard issue view, in the Activity section, on the History Tab (or All tab), what are the bracketed numbers?  (I assume the are PK's for the LOV)

And more importantly, why are there sometimes two?

These seem to be the PK's for the LOV

These are unique to workflow transitions, allowing you to narrow down in what workflow and what transition a change happened. USeful mostly when troubleshooting complex workflows. Not sure why there would be two doe..

These changes are the result of editing the issue and not a workflow transition.
