What are likes in Jira for ?

Hi.

I'm wondering what is the purpose of "like" at Jira comment, if there is no way to know, that someone liked my entry without going back to that issue. Very seldom one read his own comments again.

Can anyone explain it ?

Hi Ryszard,

I could be mistaken but as far as I know you can't like a comment (yet) in standard JIRA. So it might be addon functionality you're talking about.

You're right, it's from the "threaded comments" plugin. I'll try to contact it's authors then.
