Hello,

We are using siteminder for SSO and we have written custom SSO authenticator similar to https://docs.atlassian.com/atlassian-seraph/latest/sso.html

Added changes mentioned in link provided to our authenticator but still not able to configure link
https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/148322/how-to-make-a-custom-sso-authenticator-work-with-application-links

When creating reciprocal link from SSL to SSO instance we are getting below error

Unable to auto-configure a Consumer as the remote Consumer-Info could not be found.

Also both instance SSL certificates are imported in trusted store so ideally we should not get above error but not sure why we are getting this error when linking with instance with SSO authenticator (Siteminder)

Thanks,

Taha

Hi Taha,

SSO shouldn't be an issue. However, other things might causing this:

  • Are the base urls correctly set in both the instances?
  • Are they reachable from the each of their servers via the configured base url?
  • Is there any proxy setup? If so, bypassing the proxy for testing purposes might work.
  • Are you using the same url while entering the link for the application?

Also, please take a look on this questions which has a similar behaviour:
