We have 2 custom fields used by all projects in jira.

These fields were made null because of a change we implemented.

The change has been reverted , but now the custom fields on tickets prior to the original change are still null.

We have a DR site which hosts a backup of our live jira instance prior to the problem.

We can produce a query to list all key's and the 2 custom fields with the correct values via the DR site.

How can we use this query/export to update the live system with the original values?

A full rollback (ie, restoring database and filesystem) would have reverted values to their prior state too. How did you backup and restore? As far as i know no customfield data will ever end up in other places than the database?

we manually changed the custom fields back to how they were just before we lost these custom fields values.

How can we export the custom field values from the DR site to our live system.
