I'm currently having an issue where every project that's run SCRUM style is late. Every. Time. I think I need my team to have a bit more ownership and understanding of how many hours they have to work and how it impacts the next person until they become more independently dependable. Delivering everything on the last day when other people need to work on it is unacceptable. We have three projects late because that's how a previous product owner/project manager did it.
This is why I think I need a project or two waterfall style. What is the best way to create a waterfall project within Jira that allows me to show the time they can spend on it, when it is due, and the dependencies that are attached to it?
The time tracking everyone uses in Toggl so I can't switch everyone over to Jira now (another part of the company is using Basecamp) so I'm at a loss. I get confused by the other suggestions which don't seem to fit this specific need.
