Watching a parent also implies children (issue and sub-tasks)

Geert Truyen August 24, 2012

You can subscribe to watch an issue. One would expect that, when you watch an issue (the parent), one would also be allerted about changes in the linked sub-tasks (children).

But that is not the case. One has to explicetely flag each and every sub-task belonging to the parent, in order to be allerted of everything.

This might be convenient in some cases, but in many it is not.

Is there any way that one can define to watch everything (parent and children), once you flagged the parent, without having to flag every sub-task (children) individually?

Thank you.

You could have done it with a simple listener in downloaded version but that is not an option in onDemand.
