Look at the issue history for the change of the custom field called severity.

But, how to look for JIRA that had the change in the severity field in the query?

i have hundred of Jiras in the data base.

Ah, you want to find the issues as well as view the information on when they changed. Try "severity was X" in an advanced search.

I did try that and got the message "History searches do not support the 'Severity' field"

Argh, I'm really sorry, I forgot. WAS only works for some of the system fields. It won't work for your custom field.
