Viewing all projects within all modules

Tom Blake May 24, 2022

I have been added to Jira Work Management but can see all projects in Jira Software and Service Management too.  As I don't need access to these modules (we have a dev team that uses them), is there any way to remove my ability to see their projects?

Thanks

Hi Tom, welcome to the community!

Each project has a permission scheme. In that permission scheme there is an option to browse projects. This permission most likely has a group that you are a part of. Most the time the group is jira-users (by default all users are added to this group). So each project admin or Jira admin will need to update the permission scheme to adjust what groups can browse their project. I would reach out to a Jira Admin in your org to address your issue.
