Can we get non-qwerty support enabled in Jira for Mac?
Facing the same issue for about 3-4 months now. And I am not using Colemark.
Application lets me navigate through issues and pretty much everything but the moment I press a key on the keyboard, it crashes every single time. The key press doesn't even have to be in an input box. Pressing any key while keeping Jira app in focus on any screen of the application from the moment it is launched, results in a crash.
I have tried this with English ABC, English ABC - India, English ABC - Extended, English U.S., and English U.S. International - PC.
This doesn't seem to be an issue related to Keyboard layouts.
I tried to delete cache and tried after re-login in too:
rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.atlassian.jira.mac/Data/Library/Caches
rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.atlassian.jira.mac
I can send crash logs.
@Carlos Khatchikian can you help us with this?
Just upgraded to MacOS BigSur 11.6 (20G165) from 11.0.1 (20B50). That solved it for me. Thanks

I might suggest reporting this to Atlassian support.

Ah…so you are on the free version thus limited support to Community. I will see if I can tickle someone that works for Atlassian.

I know our client pays for it, I just am not an admin and don't really want to bother the admin as we're part of a consulting team that's helping out.
Happy to provide any details to Atlassian support if I have a way to contact them. It's reproducible immediately 100% of the time by just pressing any key, so should be pretty easy to fix.

Thanks for the additional info. So we aren’t dealing with free but rather you are not listed as technical contact for the instance. That being the case I would recommend reaching out to the admin to contact support. I would also ask other users to see if they can reproduce. I may try later myself. I don’t use the app personally though I use a Mac.

@Kevin Brown - out of curiosity, does the app work if you set your keyboard to another keyboard layout?
