Using combined fields in Jira Service Desk

Alexander Deuschlinger August 18, 2017

Hello,

I want to figure out if there is a possibility in JIRA or a plugin available to create combined fields.

Here is one Example what I need:

List 1:

- Product 1
- Product 2
- Product 3

List 2:

- Product 1 Version 1.0
- Product 1 Version 1.5
- Product 1 Version 2.1
- Product 1 Version 3.0
- Product 2 Version 1.0
- Product 2 Version 2.0
- Product 3 Version 1.0
- Product 3 Version 1.7
- Product 3 Version 1.9

So, if the customer selects "Product 2" from the list in the first field, he should be able to see only the related entries "Product 2 Version 1.0" and "Product 2 Version 2.0" in the list of the second field.

Thank you!

KR,
Alex

Hi @Alexander Deuschlinger

If you are on jira server, then you can get this with scriptrunner's behaviours. Otherwise look for an app. On jira cloud just look for an app.

Hi Alexander,

I think you can do this with a add-on:  Intenso - Extensions for JIRA Service Desk.  Otherwise a cascading select field?

Cheers

Thank a lot!

I found the cascading select list too. But there are only 2 lists available.

In best case I have 3 lists available.
