If anyone has experience using Boomi for integrating JIRA with other applications, I would love to hear about it.

Hi George -

If you already have Boomi, building transactional (BI) or workflow integrations with JIRA would be good - like with a CRM, such as Salesforce.com, NetSuite, SugarCRM.. if this is what you are exploring about...

Yes?

The question is what are the "other applications" and how wide-spread or large is your organizational integration need?

Sometimes there's a strong case for an integration framework like Boomi, IBM Cast Iron, Informatica, and the huge slew of other data integration tool vendors. Regardless of where you sit - this report has some great industry insights for you to consider (as well as a BIG LIST of vendors).

However, it is not the only reliable and sustainable integration way - and sometimes point-to-point JIRA integrations also make sense, for sustainability, support, and integration application feature flexibility reasons. And cost.

It just depends - what is your use cases and need?

Happy to discuss this - either Boomi flavor integration or point to point flavors, and pros and cons of each with you.

AppFusions also can make it happen for you -

Best,

Ellen
