Users, roles and permissions data model

I'm configuring a JIRA instance, and I need to document it. The relationship between users, roles and permissions is not trivial and I was looking for some sort of diagram or model (even UML) to explain it. Somewhat like https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Fields+and+Screens, but for permissions. I couldn't find anything along those lines in the Wiki and before I do it myself I wanted to be sure that it doesn't already exist.
