User quote permissions to comment

Hi Guys,

I am an administrator of Jira and i can quote an user (@nameoftheuser) when i am writing a comment.

The problem is that the users that is not admin canot do the same.

Does Anyone knows what permission do i have to give?

Resolution

1. Ensure that the user has the Browse User Global Permissions, as in Managing Global Permissions.

2. Ensure that the comments and/or description fields are using the Wiki Style Renderer, as in Configuring Renderers.

3. Ensure that the User email visibility option in the General Configuration (Configuring JIRA Options) is not set to hidden.
4. Ensure to change User email visibility to either Public, Masked or Show to logged in users only. ( Go to Administration > System > General Configuration).
5. The user being mentioned must have Browse Project permission for the project where they are being mentioned.
