User has project administrator role cannot manage his project

Hi;

I have a JIRA 5.2 installation, I assigned a project lead to project role administrators to give him for managing his projects. But user has a read-only access to project management screens.

Please check the screen shots seen below, what can be the problem?

Look at the permission scheme. I suspect it is missing "People who can administrate the project: Role of administrators"

Putting people into roles is a little arbitrary - it doesn't necessarily do what it implies, unless you're sticking with the Atlassian provided defaults. It'll work intuitively if you haven't customised permissions, but can easily move away from that.
