Hi there, we're a digital marketing agency and have a team of 11-12 people (and growing...).
We're looking to use gamification for positive re-inforcement.
As such, we plan on rewarding the most active member - based on number of tasks assigned (and completed), comments added (and potentially in the future, deadlines met) - of the team with a reward of some value in the end of every month.
Does anyone know if this can be done through Jira? If not, is there any software that can support that, that can connect with Jira?
Thanks in advance for your response.
Well you can certainly easily measure issues completed, due dates met, etc on an Assignee by Assignee basis. The bigger challenge in something like this is measuring the difference (complexity, scope) of the tasks. If the are always equal then no issue but rarely is that the case. You could create a “weight” custom field and set the weight for each issue but tallying that at the end of the month would either be a manual (export to Excel) effort or consider an addon that can sum the field.
Hey Jack, thanks for the response, it helps a lot. Are you aware of any addons that can help with this?

i don't have any experience w/ any but if you are looking for a "sum up" function I think you can achieve with Scriptrunner or maybe look at this - sumup-for-jira
