User Installed Plugins Not picked up IN Jira Data Centre v6.3.7

Nitin Kumar November 11, 2014

Hi ,

I am trying to upgrade to Data Centre and seems to run into a very interesting issue. JIRA starts up fine but cannot load the user installed plugins. Some of them are datacentre compatible some are now . I added Gliffy plugin from admin console and that seem to go into my local home in a hidden folder. (gliffy-jira-plugin-4.1.1_1415675748000.jar  at  ../plugins/.osgi-plugins/transformed-plugins) . I deleted the plugins folder from local home assuming they are to be in shared home, but JIRA recreated that folder again in local home. Attachments are picked up fine from shared home though.

Most Plugins are upgraded as per Datacenter requirements.

I can run JIRA Data centre and browse cases except for user installed plugins. System plugins just load fine.

Fixed It. Just had to clear the stale data and caches and it all came up in one go. Was a total non issue.

And I had space in my JIRA shared home name in cluster.properties

jira.shared.home = /jira_shared_home/workflow_abc ^M
