We have a specific user account who's actions do not trigger notifications. We believe the problem is isolated to just this one user account. We have checked all permissions and they are identical to other users who do not have this problem.
Additionally, this user's email is ignored when creating issues by email.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
This sounds odd. I would recommend that you raise a request on support.atlassian.com. Atlassian's excellent support staff will swiftly help you get to the bottom of that odd issue.
Thanks, Robert. I've got a support ticket open and it seems as though we've got some errant user accounts in the JIRA database that are not showing up in the UI or the Crowd database. Very odd, indeed. The support staff is doing a great job. Still troubleshooting.
