Upgrade to JIRA 7.0 on Solaris

Erik Daritan September 5, 2016

I am currently running JIRA v6.4.12, JIRA Agile v6.6.80 and JIRA Service Desk v2.5.9 on Solaris and I want to upgrade to JIRA Software 7.2. According to the documentation, it is recommended to upgrade to JIRA Software 7.0 first before proceeding to JIRA Software 7.2.

However, the download page does not list Solaris as an option, and there is no tar file, either. What is the best way to upgrade to 7.0 and eventually 7.2 in this case? Thanks.

Erik

Hi Erik,

You can direct upgrade from v6.4.12 to JIRA 7.2, I successfully upgraded JIRA v6.3.8 to JIRA v7.1.1 in single path.

Please try and let me know if there is any issue.

Thanks,

Hemant
