Is there a support web site view of all the issues that are open and / or fixed for versions 5.2.4.1 through 5.2.7, so we can be sure we don’t just trade one issue for another? We were told to upgrade from 5.2 to 5.2.4 because of MOVE ISSUE errors. We want to be on a stable functioning version of Jira.

I do not see all 5.2.4 and abopve issues in the link below

I found info. It only shows resolved issues. I am assuming there no open issues from release to release

See http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/jra

The release notes show you what was fixed in that particular version. It's not going to list all the remaining outstanding issues because, well, they aren't fixed, so they're not in the release.

There are plenty of open issues between releases. Many are feature requests. Some are bugs. Bugs don't tend to last as long as feature requests.

Thanks. Is there a way we can get a list of open issues between releases. We do not want to trade one problem for another

I'm not sure what you mean by "open issues between releases"?

Do you mean you want to know what new issues were raised against a new release? I'm guessing you probably need to simply use "affects version X", where X is the version (or string of versions) you want to know the bugs were found in?

Yes. We are on Jira 5.2 release with an Open bug issue where "Move Issue" fails. We were told to upgrade to 5.2.4 to resolve. Does 5.2.4 have any open issues where the fix is to upgrade to a higher release like 5.2.7? We do not want to upgrade then find there is another issue that cant be fixed in the version. So a list of what is Resolved/Unresolved will be needed. We just had a major upgrade and were told 5.2 was stable. The Move issue is a problem for us but we have to upgrade.

So look for affects-version 5.2.4 and read through them.
