Upgrade Java version for JIRA

We have JIRA 6.1 installed on a CentOS 6.5 machine. The Java version being used is the embedded one included with JIRA. It is version 1.7.0_25, which Nessus is flagging as having critical vulnerabilities. I need to get a current version of Java on there (7u45).

How can I switch JIRA to use a different JRE?

Thanks.

Add (or change)

export JAVA_HOME=/path/to/jre

in bin/setenv.sh
