I use the Backlog view for grooming issues and triaging. I like the new sidebar issue details however I have inconsistent experiences with the backlog actually updating when I make an update in the sidebar. This includes changing the status or a context field which is visible in the list. Example I show sprint in the backlog list view under an issue but when I change that in the sidebar I don't see it updated until I hit F5 and refresh whole page.
This is inconsistent though. If I create a brand new ticket it works OK but once ticket starts getting "busy" I find then it doesn't work
Hi @Kyle Mitchell -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You may find several community posts and suggested improvements on this symptom, some of which you may watch / vote for here: https://jira.atlassian.com/issues/?jql=project%20IN%20(JRACLOUD%2C%20JSWCLOUD%20)%20AND%20resolution%20%3D%20Unresolved%20AND%20summary%20~%20%22backlog%20refresh%22%20ORDER%20BY%20Key%20DESC
It appears that Jira Cloud does not consistently and rapidly update the backlog-viewed issues as changes occur. The only solution I am aware of is to refresh the browser page.
Kind regards,
Bill
