UpdateWorklogs using Tempo servlet

Hi All,

I am in very early days of using Tempo. Recently i have found Tempo servlet to access tempo services. I was able to use 'Getworklogs ' successfully, but the issue now i am facing is with updateworklogs. In the Tempo servlet it has mentioned as,

  1. HTTP GET opens a simple form to paste XML input (used for testing)
  2. HTTP POST accepts XML input and updates worklogs in JIRA
    1. The input XML must be sent as parameter: worklogs.

I have been trying by using the above methods (get/post) but unable to get the desired result. when i am hitting the url (http(s)://yourserver.yourdomain/plugins/servlet/tempo-updateWorklog/?tempoApiToken=my-token) replaced server and my token with the respective values , it is displaying as 'Site not reached'. Does this require any specific permissions with in the tempo. Any information provided will be helpful.

Thanks,

Vijay

Hi Sigrún,

I have added and was able to execute the 'getworklogs' tempo services successfully. I would like to know how to use the 'updateworklogs', should we add anything in the Url. please let me know.

Thanks,

Vijay
