Update linked issue status when linked child changes status using post function.

I want to implement a trigger both ways using post function which when clicked should trigger change of statu in the original ticket and another one which change status of child linked ticket once parent linked ticket transition happens. Any help greatly appreciated.

I think you'd have to do this using the script runner plugin. I think it has a canned script for transitioning a parent when subtasks are marked complete. I'm sure you could use it as a basis and modify it for linked issues.
