Update field value during the transition

It is possible to change value of the same field by a different transition (Postfunction) in same workflow.

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question really.

Same field as what? Same workflow as what? By different transition (postfunction)? (postfunctions are added to transitions, they're different things?)

Is this the same question as https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/240330/update-the-field-while-creating-the-issue which you asked earlier and haven't responded to further comments on?

Could you explain the actual requirement here? What do you want to happen to your data when you execute a transition?
