Update date (during a logging of work) shows a date almost 4 weeks into the future, instead of today

The scenario is that work was logged and the record for that, instead of showing today's date, shows a date several weeks out. 

What was also strange in this scenario is that the developer resolving the subtask, resolved the Story as well (accidentally). 

The resulting burndown chart was then seriously off. 

I corrected this by deleting the work log record and readding it back, but this is a bit of a disturbing issue.

Workaround is to remove the logged work record and re add it. Unfortunately, this is not a fix for this.
