Universal Plugin Manager selfupdate error

kamil-p April 8, 2013

Hello,

I tried to update universal plugin manager via admin panel and got error (I don't remember its contents).

Now if I try to navigate http://<jira>/plugins/servlet/upm I get "Not Found (404)".

Diectory jira/plugins/installed-plugins now contains 3 files:
splugin.1820620432473691179.atlassian-universal-plugin-manager-plugin-2.9.3.jar
plugin.4054687612074515936.jira-greenhopper-plugin-6.1.6.jar
remotable.plugins.i18n8060934097475753268.jar
upm-selfupdate2446818935342759124.jar

I don't know what to do now to restore plugin manager in jira.

Any help will be appreciated.

Di you try restarting JIRA? If that also doesn't fix it, remove the 2.9.3 version and the upm-selfupdate jars and restart again!

JIRA comes with a budled UPM jar which should work fine.
