Unable to set issues to Resolved using Greenhopper Simplified Workflow and workaround not possible.

Gert Leenders February 17, 2013

Ok , so i'm aware of the default behavour and I've read :

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GHKB/Unable+to+set+issues+to+Resolved+using+Greenhopper+Simplified+Workflow

and

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-5741

The only thing is, we're using Jira and Greenhopper 'on demand' so I suppose we're always using the most recent version and still the problem exists...

But even the workaround is not possible... with the workflow in draft mode it seems that the option to edit a post action on the transition is gone for simplied workflows ??

Thanks,

Gert

Hi Gert,

If edit is unavailable, can you perform the following on a test simplified workflow:

  • Select 'Add a new post function to the unconditional result of the transition'
  • Create a post-function that will update the Resolution field to Done
  • Remove the previous post-function that requests the 'Clear' of the 'Resolution' field.
  • Make sure the ordering has the new post-function located at the very top.

If you continue to experience issues, please raise a ticket at support.atlassian.com :)

Thanks,

Paul
