Unable to save Profile field edits

Fields in the About section of the Profile can be edited but the update does not save. 

Example error message reads:

"We couldn't update your organization

Try again later"

Just for us to better understand and help you with this issue, we need more tests, because the error messages that show in the UI doesn’t point to may be causing this.

  • First, I would like to confirm if you trying to update your profile directly in Jira (Profile picture > Profile) or on id.atlassian.com.
    • If you are trying on one of the options above, please try on the other one to check if the same issue happens. 
  • Please, open the developer tools on your browser when saving the details on your profile to check if it shows any further information.
  • Are you the only user facing this issue? 
  • Were you able to change the details on your profile previously?

Hello Angélica

A colleague and I were trying to edit the profile text fields directly in Jira. After a few days the issue resolved and changes have now been made and saved successfully.
