Unable to install JIRA v4.4.3

Praveen Singh December 12, 2011

Hi,

I've been trying to upgrade JIRA from v4.4 to v4.4.3 but the new install of v4.4.3 is stuck at the very beginning.

Initially I was using the same tomcat container (v6.0.32) which was hosting JIRA v4.4. Later I tried installing v4.4.3 in a new Tomcat container but I still get the same error (as pasted below).

I've copied all the additional jars (log4j, slf & commons-logging) under Tomcat's /lib directory and also made sure they are not present in WEB-INF/lib still the error repeats itself.

Any help would be appreciated.
