Unable to import Status field from CSV


I am trying to import as a system admin using Settings > System > External System Import > CSV.

But when I get to the mapping fields page, I cannot find "Status" listed in the Jira field dropdown.

Status is not a custom field, you won't see it in the dropdown. Status is related to workflows

So how do i import a csv column into Status?

I want to set the imported tickets as Closed.

The workaround will be to do a bulk edit once the import is done then update status field to closed
